Dr Jeanette Hennigan
Jeanette is the founder of Helpyourhead.com and has a strong Counselling, Psychotherapy and Coaching background in a wide range of settings (most significantly educational settings). She has worked as a Therapist, Supervisor, Trainer & Consultant in state and independent schools, MIND, CRUSE Bereavement Care, Samaritans and a variety of counselling organisations. She has a well established private practice in central London.
Jeanette is an enthusiastic, inspiring leader of multi-disciplinary teams with over 30 years experience of working in well-being. Winner of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Counselling and Psychotherapy New Researcher 2015 Award for research into using technology as an adjunct to face-to-face school counselling.
Lesley is the co-founder of helpyourhead.com. Lesley has been working as a therapist for 12 years and has qualifications in counselling, counselling supervision, creative arts therapy, and online counselling. She has previously taught the Diploma and Certificate in Counselling. Prior to retraining as a counsellor she worked for the Ministry of Defence and in the private sector in IT. She has a special interest in counselling individuals who have suffered trauma while working as first responders in the public sector.
Her areas of experience include individual and couples counselling, addiction, stress and anxiety, trauma and general counselling. She also offers counselling and mindfulness training to children and young people in schools. She has been working in independent schools for 9 years and is currently the school counsellor for Kensington Prep School.
Lesley has an established private practice in Blackheath where she provides counselling and training to couples and individuals.
