Dr Jeanette Hennigan

Jeanette is the founder of Helpyourhead.com and has a strong Counselling, Psychotherapy and Coaching background in a wide range of settings (most significantly educational settings). She has worked as a Head of Wellbeing, Director of Wellbeing, Coaching Psychologist, Cybertherapist, Therapist, Supervisor, Mindfulness Teacher, Trainer & Consultant in state and independent schools, MIND, CRUSE Bereavement Care, Samaritans, Nuffield Health and a variety of local authority counselling organisations.

Jeanette works with a team of therapists, coaches and consultants where additional resource is required.

Dr Jeanette Hennigan has worked in the area of mental and emotional health in a variety of organisations for over 30 years. With a successful track record in strategic thinking, leading teams and developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders across high quality, people-focused services, she is a skilful communicator, who is outcome-orientated with a track record of delivering results within budget.

In addition. she won the BACP Counselling and Psychotherapy New Researcher Award 2015, for her pioneering research into using technology as an adjunct to face-to-face counselling in UK schools. Schools that she has worked with include Berkhamsted Schools Group, Wellington College, Headington School, Beaconsfield High School and Guildford Grammar School.
